又见Grant Achatz~ 食物传承人生,这个世界是属于某些特定领域的偏执狂的。
只看了一点点,并未看完该纪录片。
一群可爱的人和他们自己经营的餐馆的故事。三个故事,三个角度,个人,家庭,和社区。纪录片围绕餐馆在讲故事,却和食物关系不大,讲的是人们寄托在餐馆上的东西。就像imdb某条评论所说:即使你对美食不感兴趣,依然会喜欢这部电影。
拖着进度条前前后后反复看n+1遍
关于吃的电影,其实能把每一种食物都拍得让人垂涎(为什么就芝加哥这家根本吃不起…)就已经成功了一半。从美食,餐馆延伸到家庭,人生,可惜主题的提炼以及三家餐馆的层次联系都不是太有说服力。
看过很多美食相关的电影电视但这是第一次看纪录片 美国三家风格迥异的餐厅之间却有着类似的艰苦奋斗 美食不分贵贱 片尾Alinea的Grant Achatz的总结讲的快要热泪盈眶了 于是决定毕业前要去吃一次。。。
真是看了让人感到幸福的电影啊。芝加哥有这么厉害的餐厅好棒!不过一开始我真的以为Alinea主厨是弯的,看到两个正太儿子的时候吓了一跳。但是看到爸爸握着儿子的手教切菠萝还是好感动。米其林居然选在在Cultural Center颁奖!墨西哥一家人太sentimental了感觉就是为了平衡一下避免被人说种族歧视的。
温馨小品 看似三个完全不同类型的餐厅,其背后都有着类似辛酸与艰难的奋斗故事。米其林三星大厨最后一语道破导演的初衷:原来三个餐厅冥冥之中有着内在对于restaurant&food理解的共通之处。(发现好的背景音乐为纪录片风格层次提升不少)

起初对这部纪录片选择的讲述方式不解,直至中后段,三条线索才因为不幸的事件发生了关联。总体来说还是挺感人的,但单独拎出那家小镇餐厅来做纪录片会不会更完整?因为墨西哥餐厅的那段实在拍的太孱弱了,米其林三星分子料理餐厅的格调又和另外两家餐厅全然不同,虽然后面有独白扣题,无非是食物治愈人心的道理,餐厅的形式并不重要,但我总觉得这种黏合还是怪怪的。倒是小镇餐厅那段很感人,两次火灾,两次重建,一个数十人组成的小镇,这家餐厅早已成为了人们紧密联系的场所和象征,可拍的地方好多好多,而且足够触动。
